Jason Moore

On Base Suites Director of Sales

I am a United States Navy Veteran and was stationed aboard three different air craft carriers over a 6 year enlistment and participated in multiple Persian Gulf War campaigns. After the military; I began my 23 year (and counting) career in hospitality and lodging while I earned a sales and marketing degree from San Diego State University. I have worked in many areas of the lodging industry and I love combining my hospitality expertise with my military experience and knowledge to now serve the Government and Military community; by providing quality lodging solutions. I am very proud of my service and am so thankful for all the military members throughout history who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our country! I love my job and I love to serve those who serve!

Deirdra Davern

Fort Irwin Host Manager

My Husband is an Active Duty Service Member with the US Army, stationed at the National Training Center of Fort Irwin California. Being a part of the US Army, we proudly continue the tradition of military service exemplified by my Grandfather who served in WWII, in the Army Air Corps 701st Bomb Squadron. As well as my Husband’s Grandfather who also served in the US Army. At On-Base Suites we give temporary lodging to many of my Husband’s peers and other family’s moving to the instillation. I love my work, and am very fortunate to be able to work alongside other Military Spouses. We work very hard to make sure every apartment that we rent is clean, and welcoming to our guests. This isn’t just a job for me, it is continuing my career in the Hospitality Industry, and giving me a different kind of experience I wouldn’t receive anywhere else. I am very happy to serve those who serve, and excited for the future of On-Base Suites.

Karen Goff

I have worked in the temporary housing industry for 20 years, and have been with Madison Hospitality since June, 2015. My father served in World War II and was a Purple Heart Recipient. I love assisting the military with their temporary lodging, as it is just one small way, I am able to give back to those who sacrifice so much for our freedom.

I have worked in the guest service industry for 10 years, and have worked at Madison Hospitality since October, 2015. My husband formerly served in the Marine Corp for 5 years, and was honorably discharged in 2015. It is a privilege being able to assist with military lodging, as there is no greater honor than serving those who have and are defending our great country!

Daniel Christian

Field Service Manager - West Coast

I have been working at Madison Hospitality for 2 years and have had the opportunity to be a part of the On-Base Suites team since its inception. Growing up in a military city like San Diego, almost everybody I know has a strong military connection. A good portion of my friends either have served, are serving, or are members of military families. My father served in the United States NAVY as an aircraft mechanic and my grandfather served in the ARMY in World War 2 where he received a purple heart in The Battle of the Bulge. Creating a comfortable home away from home for those who serve our country is a true honor.

Matt Scarborough

Director of Operations

My father was in the US Army and is a Vietnam Veteran. The sacrifices he and my mother made for our family provided the foundation for who I am today. I look up to my father not just because he’s my dad but because of what he gave for every United States citizen through his service to our country. There are millions just like him that gave just as much and often more. While my path in life has taken another road, I enjoy working so closely and giving back in my own little way to all those Madison Hospitality and On-Base Suites serves who serve our country for the betterment of all. God Bless the USA and thank you to all the men and women past and present who are serving in our military. Freedom is never free.
